Evergreen collection & scheduling. How does it work?

This article is about how to collect and schedule evergreen tweets.

Our Evergreen tweets feature is perfect to make sure you're visible on Twitter even when you're not actually there.

We recommend you add your top tweets to the Evergreen collection so that your top content keeps getting engagement and impressions long after you posted it.

By adding tweets to the Evergreen collection and setting up your schedule properly, you will be retweeting some of your best-ever tweets at specific times and days of the week.

There are 3 ways to add tweets to the Evergreen collection,

  1. To set it up, start by searching for your own top tweets on Tweet Hunter. The best way to do that is to head over to the search page and search for your own handle using this format: @handle

You'll get all your best-performing tweets, and you can add them to the Evergreen collection by clicking on the "star" at the top right of each tweet.

If you feel like there are great tweets missing from the results, maybe that's because of the filters. Feel free to check those and launch the search again.

Note: you can only add your own tweets to Evergreen, not somebody else's.

  1. The second way to add tweets as Evergreen is by going over to the Evergreen section and clicking on Import Tweets. Just copy/paste the URL of any tweet you published and it'll import it to your Evergreen collection.
  1. Finally, the last way to add tweets is to do it automatically. In the Evergreen section, enable "Add tweets automatically" and define the number of likes that will be enough to trigger us to add the tweet. We will check for those once a day.

Note: we suggest you add a decent amount of tweets so that it's not always the same ones being retweeted. Let’s say you have 1 slot per day for Evergreen, we suggest you have at least 20 tweets in your Evergreen collection.

Alright, you've added some tweets.

Now click on "Edit Evergreen Schedule" and create a slot dedicated to retweeting your Evergreen content.

To achieve that, just pick a time of day and don't forget to check the "Evergreen slot 🌲" checkbox. Then just press "Add slot" and pick the days of the week you want that slot to be enabled for.

Whenever a calendar slot is dedicated to Evergreen tweets, it displays in green just like in the GIF below.

For each Evergreen 🌲 slot you created in your queue, Tweet Hunter will randomly pick one of the tweets in your Evergreen collection and RT it with your account. We also make sure we don't RT the same tweet twice in a row.
